Burn Knuckle Crowned Alpha Arena Season 1 Champions After Edging Luminousity Gaming Details

Burn Knuckle Esports have taken the first Alpha Arena title, beating a 12-team final field to finish on 180 points. The competition opened with 72 teams, and only one team walked away with the trophy.

Lone, Warden, Flux, Guts and Mafia built the win on kills. The squad recorded 124 eliminations, the highest in the tournament, along with two match wins and 56 placement points. Luminousity Gaming pushed them hard and finished second on 169 points. They won three matches, more than any other team, and collected 69 placement points, but their 100 kills were not enough to close the 11-point gap.

Forsaken Esports took third place with 128 points, made up of two wins, 48 placement points and 80 kills. Behind them, NotFound Esports ended fourth on 99, Kaizen Evolution fifth on 94 and UnholyGods sixth on 93, with UnholyGods picking up the only other match win on the board. Rebels Esport, Raiders, Major Underdogs, NXT, Exild Godslayers and David's Sling completed the standings.

The top fragger race was close. Burn Knuckle's Mafia and Guts shared the lead with Forsaken's LMFAO on 35 finishes each. Burn Knuckle's Flux followed on 34, and Luminousity Gaming's Salman rounded out the top five on 30. Flux, Guts and Mafia alone combined for 104 of Burn Knuckle's 124 kills, which shows how much the title rode on their fragging.

The victory comes weeks after Burn Knuckle signed with Alpha Organization in September. The champions were announced on Alpha Organization's Instagram page, with Sammy as host and results prepared by Pointcalc.
