Ember Gaming Rule the Impact Tournament Grand Final, Collect 60,000 FCFA

Ember Gaming have been crowned champions of the Impact Tournament after a dominant five-game Grand Final that saw 12 teams fight for the title. Ember finished on 104 points, with two Booyahs, 45 placement points and 59 kills, enough to beat everyone in the lobby and take home the 60,000 FCFA champion prize. The tournament was organised by Hinerza Gaming, with Kelly YT credited alongside on the official graphics.

Ember's win was built on doing everything well. They finished with the most placement points in the lobby and the most kills as well, so there was no weak side for rivals to exploit. They were also the only team to win two Booyahs. Astral Esport, GOAT Esport and Crimson Wolves each won one, which means the five Booyahs were spread across four different teams. Even so, nobody could match Ember's consistency, and they ended the final 11 points clear of second place.

The fight for the rest of the podium was much tighter. Astral Esport took second with 93 points, made up of 36 placement points and 57 kills, and earned 15,000 FCFA. GOAT Esport finished third with 92 points, from 34 placement points and 58 kills, and received 10,000 FCFA. Just one point separated the two teams. GOAT actually had one more kill than Astral, but Astral's two-point advantage in placement was enough to hold second.

Crimson Wolves finished fourth on 81 points, with one Booyah, 33 placement points and 48 kills. Vyronix Esport followed in fifth on 74 points without a Booyah, collecting 34 placement points and 40 kills. Conquistador took sixth on 57 points, JavaScript XML placed seventh on 55, and Ivox E-Sport was eighth on 54. Catalyst Star finished ninth on 46 points, with 23 placement points and 23 kills. Gentle7 took tenth on 37, EXE placed eleventh on 11, and CIV Leader closed the table in twelfth on 8 points.

The top fragger race ended in a three-way tie. MBR.BigBoss of Ember Gaming, CRW Papzoo of Crimson Wolves and A4G.Arz Boy! of Astral Esport all finished with 19 kills across the five games. BigBoss was steady throughout, going 5, 1, 4, 4 and 5. Papzoo started fast with 6 and 7 kills in the first two games before closing with 5 in Game 5. Arz Boy! finished strongly with 7 kills in the final game. Right behind them on 18 kills each were GOAT.IMU of GOAT Esport, who dropped 8 kills in Game 3, and MBR.Vinko of Ember Gaming, who got 8 in Game 4. With BigBoss and Vinko in the top five, those two players alone produced 37 of Ember's 59 kills.

The Grand Final carried a total prize pool of 95,000 FCFA, about $162.70. First place received 60,000 FCFA, second place 15,000 FCFA, third place 10,000 FCFA, and the MVP award carried 10,000 FCFA.
