Malume Esports are back. After a period of pause, the Free Fire team has unveiled its new six-man lineup under the Meridian E-Sports banner. The squad is Butzin, BZP, Corona, Death, Alex7 and Warlock.
The announcement came through an official lineup graphic on the team's Instagram page, and it comes with a storyline that will catch the attention of followers of the Angolan scene. Meridian E-Sports told LAN that all the Angolan players have left Deadpoint. It named Alex7, Neon, Corona, BZP and Death, and said they are now part of Malume Esports. Four of those names, Alex7, Corona, BZP and Death, appear on the new lineup graphic. Neon is not shown on it.
Deadpoint had been a talking point in recent weeks. The team operates as Catalyst's Angola representative, and it only recently welcomed new rushers Death and Flash to its roster. That makes this exit from Deadpoint a quick turnaround for the players involved.
No reason has been given for the departures, and Deadpoint has not yet released a statement on the matter. LAN has reached out and will update this story once the team or Catalyst responds.
For Malume, the focus now shifts to what this lineup can deliver on the competitive stage. With several familiar faces from the Angolan circuit, the team returns with experience and plenty of questions to answer.
